Info
As part of its 30th-anniversary celebrations, Itaú Cultural opened its exhibition series (Ocupação, or Occupation) to five women who dedicated themselves to Brazilian art and culture. The first honoree was actress Laura Cardoso. The exhibition invited the public to explore the actress's creative process, career milestones, and memories of her roles through a non-linear, multifaceted journey that reflected the versatility of her performances.
The graphic design references the look of era-defining publications that documented the actress’s career and performances. Alongside the layout, the selection of yellow paper stock and high-contrast black-and-white imagery reinforces this aesthetic.

Timeline
Running throughout the publication, the timeline provides historical context and orients the reader. It functions as an autonomous narrative layer, operating independently from the main text on each page. Defining moments in Brazilian history and the evolution of national media are interwoven with key milestones from Laura Cardoso’s life and storied career.
